The Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center is a full-service marina located in downtown Miami, Florida. The facility is able to accommodate boats up to 110’ and offers direct access to the ocean via the Intracoastal Waterway.

The Marina needed to install a new piping water system throughout the facility. Murphy Pipelines was tasked with designing and installing a reliable water system in an area with space restrictions in a very short timeframe. They needed a solution that was able to quickly and easily install and join sections of the 3”, 6”, and 8” HDPE pipe that comprised the water main system.

Murphy Pipeline utilized Victaulic’s infrastructure solutions for HDPE pipe. The Style 905 Coupling for Plain End HDPE Pipe was utilized throughout the water system and met all of the challenges presented by the project.  Not only did Victaulic help to provide a reliable pipe joining system solution, but also helped to meet the tight deadlines on the project.

The Victaulic solutions for the HDPE water system were able to be easily installed and visually verified of correct installation. The value engineering that the Victaulic solutions provided gave Murphy Pipelines an additional level of confidence in the water system that they designed and installed.
