The Roxborough Water Treatment Plant was originally constructed in 1958 to receive and treat water from the runoff of Rocky Mountain lakes. In 2015, a new water treatment plant was built to replace the original facility, with the capacity to treat up to 8 million gallons of drinking water per day.
Victaulic was trusted by Garney Construction and TST Infrastructure to provide reliable solutions for stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems within the new water treatment plant. Victaulic Advanced Grooved System (AGS) solutions were utilized on various systems including the water lines, backwash supply, effluent, and influent piping. Additionally, Victaulic provided solutions for the stainless steel air scour piping system.
Overall, Victaulic’s solutions delivered inherent value engineering, including labor reduction, to the design and construction of the new Roxborough Water Treatment Plant.
