In 2019 construction began on a large saltwater disposal facility (SWD) in North Dakota. Beginning with preconstruction planning, the owner’s goal was to bring the facility online as quickly as possible to begin producing and generating revenue. To bring this goal to fruition, the owners chose to partner with Victaulic, and Victaulic’s vertically integrated fabrication solutions.

Victaulic’s in-house modeling team worked hand in hand with the site owners to design the project and create the required fabrication spool drawings. Victaulic fabricated the project, delivering material according to the project build schedule, with spools installing seamlessly with Victaulic’s Installation-Ready™ coupling technology. Victaulic field engineers were onsite at the time of delivery to train crews, providing the total project partnership needed to bring the facility online faster than originally anticipated.

Victaulic system solutions have been installed for over 2 years, exposed to the demanding weather conditions in North Dakota. The system, which was visually verified for proper installation at the time of construction, has required minimal maintenance or repair. Victaulic was able to mitigate risk, modularize construction, and minimize the construction schedule on this large SWD facility.
