With a tight timeline and budget, Shoemaker Mechanical needed a reliable solution for a cooling tower replacement on the roof of a Tulsa Community College academic building. The use of Victaulic’s Style W907 couplings on high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe reduced man-hours by 15 percent and offered greater corrosion resistance compared to carbon steel pipe. Challenged by unpredictable Oklahoma winter weather, this project was completed ahead of schedule with no issues to date.
