The Victaulic Infrastructure Team is looking forward to participating in the 94th annual Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) from October 16th – 20th, 2021 in Chicago, Illinois.
Connecting the Water Community
Since 1928, The Water Environment Federation (WEF) has been a not-for-profit technical and educational organization with a mission to “connect water professionals, enrich the expertise of water professionals, increase the awareness of the impact and value of water, and provide a platform for water sector innovations.” Currently, WEF has over 35,000 members, representing water quality professionals around the globe.
To connect its members, WEF has been hosting an annual conference for the past 93 years. The initial concept of a meeting has evolved from members networking with members into what we know today as WEFTEC. WEFTEC is the largest annual water quality exhibition in the world where the “full breadth of the water sector comes together.” Participants of the week-long event have the opportunity to explore, learn, network, grow professionally, and strengthen their connections with the domestic and international water community.
WEFTEC 2021 is being held at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois, a venue that has hosted WEFTEC countless times over the past 93 years. In 2019, McCormick Place was filled with over 1,000 exhibitors and attracted over 22,500 water quality professionals. Each year, the exhibitors at WEFTEC showcase the latest developments, technologies, and services for the water sector, including, plant operations, water reuse and treatment, membrane technology, and regulation and research.
Victaulic is Designed to Support the Water Market
For almost two decades, Victaulic has showcased its solutions for the water and wastewater market at WEFTEC. This year, the Victaulic Infrastructure Team is looking forward to connecting with the members of the water industry live and in person! Victaulic’s Steve Gabriel, US Infrastructure Divisional Manager, says that “after over a year of mostly virtual meetings and trade shows, it is very exciting to be preparing for in-person events, especially WEFTEC. One of my favorite parts of my job is when I get to be hands-on with products and show engineers and contractors how easily the couplings, fittings, and valves can be installed. It is so much more impactful to do this in-person rather than through a virtual meeting!” At this year’s WEFTEC, Victaulic will showcase numerous displays, ranging from large diameter to small diameter system solutions, allowing the attendees to get hands-on with Victaulic’s solutions for the water industry.
Victaulic works to provide a variety of sustainable, and reliable solutions for projects of all sizes for the water and wastewater market. The Victaulic Infrastructure Team supports all influencers and stakeholders throughout the water and wastewater project lifecycle in their effort to meet the technical and value needs of each project. Victaulic is designed to support the entire water and wastewater cycle- from conception to design, to construction and onsite training and support. Victaulic works at every stage, through the life of operations.
