Faced with high expectations and a short project timeline, Victaulic worked with Shumate Mechanical to design, fabricate and install the basement-level mechanical room for the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) new state-of-the-art headquarters in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.
Victaulic’s Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team used its proprietary software add-in, Victaulic Tools for Revit®, to design the building’s three-loop distribution piping system in less than three weeks. And despite the challenges of working through the COVID-19 pandemic, Shumate installed the system in the ASHRAE mechanical room in less than four weeks. Learn more about how the partnership between Victaulic and Shumate contributed to the successful renovation of an existing building to a high-performance, net-zero energy facility in ASHRAE’S commemorative issue.
